Fleming's Fish and Chip shop in Anstruther is ideally located on the picturesque seafront, close to the beach and all the villages' amenities, where you can take a stroll along the harbour or sit on one of the many picturesque seating areas and enjoy your freshly fish supper. Opened in 2000, what was once a bakery then a clothes shop is now one of the best traditional fish and chip shops in the East Neuk and is popular with both locals and visitors.

As health is a major factor in many peoples diets we believe in only ever using vegetable oil for cooking it helps produce a healthier food which is also suitable for vegetarians, making Fleming's a place that everyone can enjoy.

While many other chip shops rely on outside suppliers for their fish, Fleming's has an advantage of having their own fish shed which has been in operation for over 23 years. Ian Fleming originally started delivering fish and moved onto processing and filleting fish to supply to the local markets three years later. All this knowledge in the industry means that only the best quality fish is hand selected daily, so you know you are getting the best fresh fillets you can get. If you travel five minutes along the road to Pittenweem you can see where the fresh fish is landed before being taken to our processing shed, where later that day it could be on your plate for dinner.
